Remember to VOTE!
Voting starts at 07:00. Vote on 18 May in the 2011 Municipal Elections! To vote in the municipal elections, you must register as a voter. You only have to register once, unless you moved or your voting district changed. You must be a South African citizen, be at least 16 years old, and have a green, bar-coded ID book. South Africa’s national and provincial elections take place every five years.

You can check your registration status by sending an SMS with your ID number to 32810.
