Cathy’s Shuttle Service offers door to door pick-up and drop-off services for kids. We provide safe, reliable and comfortable transportation for kids of all ages. The schools that are serviced include Charis, Doornpoort Primary School, Magalieskruin Primary School, Northridge Primary School, Overkruin High School, and Stephanus Roos Primary School.

In today’s rat race we, as parents, are finding it more and more difficult to fetch and carry our kids to school. Not only is traffic a problem but our commitments at work are more challenging and time consuming. That’s where Cathy’s Shuttle Service comes in.

The Pretoria Zoo or National Zoological Gardens of South Africa (NZG), offers various interesting, educational children’s courses during the December/January school holidays, which include Junior Nature Conservator, Scavenger Hunt, Meet the Birds, The World of Reptiles, Monkey Tricks. BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL, and learners must provide their own lunch or make use of restaurant facilities.

Pretoria Zoo Courses:

• Junior Nature Conservator – for learners in grade 7 – 12; getting acquainted with zoo animals and other activities. Fee R200 per child, 12 – 15 Dec 2011 (English); 19 – 23 Dec 2011 (English); 03 – 06 Jan 2012 (English).
• Scavenger Hunt – grade 4 to 7 learners; data collection of different species of animals and comprehensive treasure hunt. Fee R70 per child, 12 Dec 2011 (English); 23 Dec 2011 (Afrikaans); 06 Jan 2012 (English).
• Meet the Birds – grade R to 3 learners; characteristics of birds and their nests; identify 20 birds. Fee R70 per child, 13 Dec 2011 (Afrikaans); 19 Dec 2011 (English); 04 Jan 2012 (Afrikaans).
• The World of Reptiles – grade 4 to 7 learners; variety of reptiles, and a snake demonstration. Fee R70 per child; 12 Dec 2011 (Afrikaans); 21 Dec 2011 (English), 03 Jan 2012 (Afrikaans).
