Wonderboom Airport in Pretoria, Gauteng, is celebrating their 75 years in aviation with a spectacular Air Show on Saturday, 11 June 2011. Aviation enthusiasts and spectators will be entertained with various breathtaking air displays during the course of the day, with one of the highlights an aircraft landing on a vehicle, as well as helicopter flips for the visitors, and a fireworks display at the end of the show. The rugby game will also be shown on big screen TV after the Air Show.

Wonderboom Airport Air Show 2011:

• Gates open at 07:00 and the show is on from 10:00 to 17:00.
• Admission – adults R40, children under 12 R20.
• NO pets.
• Show Entertainment – L39s; Goodyear Eagle Pitt Specials; Yack 52s; Albatrosses; Flying Lions; Harvards; a Slick 360; the Mazda aerobatics team; Glen Dell in an Xtra 300 and T28 Trojan, commercial aircraft; a truck-top landing; parachuting, and more.
